Comfiwave is a patented compression garment, designed to complement the treatment a patient receives during waking hours.

ㅤㅤ

Comfiwave is a soft compressive fabric, with a distinctive wave pattern knit. The wave profile creates a pressure differential, that leaves lines/grooves on a patient’s skin that help soften the skin while promoting lymphatic drainage.

Patient-friendly

  • High air permeability for coolness all year round, day or night.

  • Soft, organic cotton against the skin ensures maximum comfort.

  • Continue compression therapy overnight in supreme comfort with Comfiwave’s fabric providing gentle compression while you sleep or while relaxing in the day.

Innovative

  • 3D knitting technology creates a seamless knit which delivers a gentle yet targetted, therapeutic pressure of 15-21mmHg.

  • Comfiwave garments use proprietary ‘low-resistance’ yarns which allow them to be effortlessly donned and doffed.

  • Comfiwave’s wave patterning mimics the pressure differential massage effect that is ordinarily found in cut-foam, chip-bag style garments.

Real results

  • Can be used for stand-alone treatment or as an adjunct to other treatment modalities, and for 24 hours a day if needed.

    British Journal of Community Nursing

  • Really comfortable to wear at night. Unlike other products, doesn’t make my leg hot when temperature is high.

    Patient

  • Comfiwave offers an innovative alternative, providing continuous, gentle, low-pressure compression that is comfortable, easy to apply, and adaptable to patient lifestyle.

Leanne Atkin, Journal of Community Nursing

Clinical Evidence

  • Studies have shown that night-time compression can result in improved sleep and reduced discomfort, reduced oedema, increased blood flow, reduced venous stasis and increased tissue oxygenation.

  • Across multiple case studies patients reported Comfiwave to be comfortable and easy to use, which itself would improve concordance with treatment and self-management of oedema.

  • Maintenance therapy for longterm oedema control once ulcers have healed to reduce the risk of recurrence.

In complex patients where standard bandaging is contraindicated, impractical, or not tolerated.
